Sales Clerk Job Description
We are looking for a Sales Clerk to join our team at Ryba’s Fudge Shops. The Sales Clerk plays a key role in selling, stocking, and maintaining product inventory while providing excellent customer service. We value a positive, friendly, and courteous attitude toward customers and co-workers.
Responsibilities:
- Sell and stock products.
- Perform opening and closing procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness of counters, shelves, floors, and windows.
- Provide courteous and helpful assistance to customers.
- Prepare mail orders.
- Contribute to the making of a variety of candies.
- Keep uniform neat and clean, and present oneself in a well-groomed manner.
- Perform any other assigned duties.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills.
- Basic reading and math skills.
- Ability to operate a cash register.
- Capacity to understand and follow directions.
- Punctuality is essential.

Provided: Branded short sleeve shirt, long sleeve shirt, baseball cap

- Solid tan pants and/or shorts
- Solid white athletic shoes with non-skid soles.

Required Dress Code Details

- Clothing must be the appropriate size (not tight, baggy, or ill-fitting).
- Clothing may not be ripped, torn, or frayed, whether naturally worn or added for decorative purposes.
- Pants must stay up on the waist and support themselves without falling.
- No yoga or cargo-style pants.
- Stitching or any other decoration must match the color of the pants.
- Pant legs may not be rolled up.
- Shoes must be closed-toe and non-skid. No visible logos. No color variations. No ballet flats.
- Shorts must be no more than two inches above the top of the knee.
